Why Keyboard Shortcuts Are Great for Changing YouTube Quality
Using keyboard shortcuts to switch YouTube video quality can be way more convenient than clicking the gear icon. Here’s why:
- Faster: You can instantly change the quality with a shortcut, unlike the gear icon, which takes a few clicks.
- Less Disruptive: Shortcuts don’t block the video, while the gear icon pops up a menu that can get in the way.
- More Convenient: If you’re used to shortcuts, it’s much easier than reaching for the mouse and clicking around.
- Works in Full-Screen: In full-screen mode, shortcuts let you adjust quality without interrupting the video. The gear icon, on the other hand, takes extra steps.
In short, shortcuts are faster, simpler, and let you focus on enjoying the video without distractions.
